Setting Up My Business: From Local Sparky to Limited Company Director

Since starting J.Lucy Electrical in August 2024, I’ve been proud to serve homeowners and businesses across Ashford, Kent. Now, as we kick off the 2026/27 financial year, I’m excited to announce that we have officially become a Limited Company.

I make sure all my work is NICEIC registered and fully compliant with the latest 18th Edition wiring regulations. This isn't just about safety; it’s about giving my clients the peace of mind they deserve.

3. Professional Compliance: EICRs and Safety Checks

One of the most common requests I get from landlords in Kent is for Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR). Moving to a Limited structure helps me manage these larger-scale professional contracts more effectively.
